The BT820 is the 5th Generation Embedded Video Engine (EVE), an easy-to-use family of graphics controllers targeted at embedded applications. Create advanced touch-enabled Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) on large LVDS displays using the same object-oriented programming model as previous EVE generations. New and enhanced features on the 5th Generation include:
- LVDS Output for large displays up to 1920 x 1200
- LVDS Video Input up to 1920 x 1200, with real-time video pre-processing
- Frame buffer in external DRAM and 16 KB display list for rendering complex graphics
- Directly attached storage for assets via NAND Flash, NOR Flash and SD Card
- Enhanced touch engine supporting external Capacitive and Resistive touch controllers via I2C
- Stereo audio output (via PWM, Delta-Sigma or I2S)
