Overview
Gasoline / petrol pumps often have either a mechanical display for the quantity or pricing. In some cases, this can be an LED-based electronic display. In recent years, they have followed the trend toward colour graphical displays.
Using an EVE-based colour graphical touch display brings many benefits when updating designs:
- Add an attractive and user-friendly interface showing a range of parameters such as fuel quantity and cost
- Use the same controller for different regions by setting the language, volume units (litres etc.) and currency
- Display the status of the pump clearly to users and staff
- Add branding for the gasoline company or location
- Offer new features such as pre-selecting the amount of fuel to be delivered
- Display advertising on the screen
- Use the touch interface to provide a more user-friendly interaction
