The IDK-BT816-50A integrated Bridgetek’s TFT panel DP-0501-11A, a 5.0-inch 800 × 480 resolution display with resistive touch support. It is built around the VM816C50A-N EVE development module, which integrates Bridgetek’s BT816Q graphics controller and includes 16 MB of NOR Flash memory for graphics asset storage.

For simplified development and PC connectivity, the kit includes the MM4222-QSPI USB-to-QSPI bridge. It also supports MCU expansion via boards such as STM32 NUCLEO-F401RE, ESP32-S3 Feather, and WeAct STM32H743VIT6, enabling flexible system integration and direct control of the EVE device.

As no onboard speaker is provided, an external 8Ω/ 1W CleO Speaker is included to support full audio functionality, allowing complete testing and evaluation of the BT816’s audio capabilities.
