What interface options are available on the MN820 module?

The MN820 System on Module (SoM) connects to external components such as the Host and LCD display via a high speed board to board connector. It contains the BT820B Embedded Video Engine as well as a 1Gbit DDR3 RAM. The dual row, 0.4mm pitch, 100 pin connector supports data transmission speeds up to 20GBps and contains the power, ground and display control pins for the MN820 along with the following interfaces:

• Dual Channel LVDS Tx
• Dual Channel LVDS Rx
• SD Card
• SPI Master
• SPI Slave
• I2S
• I2C (for touch controller)
• Stereo audio PWM output (sigma-delta modulated)

In addition to evaluating the BT820B when connected to the VM820C, the MN820 is ideal for integrating into end-products. Placing a 100-pin connector on the product PCB allows the MN820 to be easily attached, simplifying the hardware design of the product.
