Host Interfacing

The MM4222-QSPI offers two main types of interface on the host MCU/Computer side:

• USB interfacing: The onboard FT4222H USB-to-QSPI converter enables direct communication and control of Bridgetek EVE module from a computer.

–  Use with Bridgetek software development tools (such a EVE Screen Editor) and sample app code example for

development

–  Use for programming of the flash available on some EVE modules from EVE Asset Builder for example.

• MCU Interfacing: The MM4222-QSPI board include multiple expansion sockets compatible with different MCU boards including the STM32 NUCLEO-F401RE, ESP32-S2 Feather and WeAct STM32H743VIT6 allowing these to be easily interfaced to the EVE module.  This enables reliable connections avoiding potential issues on set-ups using jumper wires between the MCU and the EVE module
