The Sunflower Shield allows makers to add a 3.5″ (QVGA) TFT LCD Display with capacitive touch to their Arduino projects.

The Sunflower Shield  includes an FT813 video controller from Bridgetek. It has a thermocouple (included) input for temperature measurement, solid state relay outputs and a microSD slot, so potential applications include temperature-based control and logging. There’s a speaker (included) for audible alarms. The Sunflower Shield’s demo application is a kegerator GUI.
