FT90x Solution

Bridgetek and technology partner MikroElektronika are pleased to announce the release of a complete ecosystem of development products to support the FT90x series of 32-bit application optimized microcontroller units (MCUs). Utilising these products, which incorporate both hardware and software elements, engineers will be able to harness the full potential of FT90x MCU devices and produce more inspiring embedded system designs. Users are able to begin the creation of their designs immediately, as no other hardware is required in order to get started.

Clicker 2 board bundle with MikroC Compiler – The Clicker 2 for the FT90x is a compact development kit with two mikroBUS™ sockets for click™ board connectivity. You can use it to quickly build your own gadgets with unique functionalities and features. It carries the FT900, a 32-bit FT32 core microcontroller, two indication LEDs, two general purpose buttons, a reset button, an on/off switch, a li-polymer battery connector, a USB Mini-B connector and two mikroBUS™ sockets. A mikroProg connector and a 2×26 pinout for interfacing with external electronics are also provided. The mikroBUS™ connector consists of two 1×8 female headers with SPI, I2C, UART, RST, PWM, Analog, and Interrupt lines as well as 3.3V, 5V and GND power lines. The Clicker 2 for FT90x board can be powered over a USB cable.
This is bundled with an activation card licence for the full-featured ANSI C compiler for Bridgetek’s high-performing FT90x family of microcontrollers. This compiler is rich with libraries and examples, and comes with a comprehensive help file and a large collection of additional tools.

You can use it to quickly build your own gadgets with unique functionalities and features. It carries the FT900, a 32-bit FT32 core microcontroller, two indication LEDs, two general purpose buttons, a reset button, an on/off switch, a li-polymer battery connector, a USB Mini-B connector and two mikroBUS™ sockets. This is bundled with an activation code for the full featured Pascal compiler for FT90x devices. Pascal is a popular programming language that encapsulates strong data types, high quality syntac and a good balance between simplicity and control.

EVE Click™

EVE Click™ is a display controller board in mikroBUS™ form factor. It features state-of-the-art FT800Q graphics controller which integrates display, audio and touch onto a low cost, easy-to-use, single-chip solution. With 12 embedded widgets, transparency and anti-aliasing support, PWM backlight dimming control and much more, FT800Q brings fast and visually stunning graphics even to 8-bit MCUs with little Flash and RAM. It communicates with a microcontroller over SPI interface (up to 30 MHz). EVE click contains flat cable connector, LM4864 audio amplifier, LED diode as well as screw terminals. The board is designed to use 3.3V power supply only

Development Support

  • Visual TFT – MikroE provides VisualTFT software to allow the the easy creation of fantastic colorful graphical user interfaces (GUI) for ConnectEVE. This simple to use software will allow even the beginner to create amazing TFT-based applications.
  • Compiler support – MikroE also provides support for all of its mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers in the form of its FT800 library. Every feature of the controller is covered with a specialized function, and examples are provided to help the user get started quickly and easily.
